Magic Kingdom

• If you waited to watch the Beacon of Magic on Cinderella Castle with your MagicBand+, prepare to be disappointed as nothing happens during the show. At all.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• New trash cans were installed this week in Toy Story Land.
• Curious about the new Batuu Bounty Hunters game on MagicBand+? We have a full review along with photos and videos of the experience.
• Sadly the MagicBand+ doesn’t work very well with the Beacon of Magic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, only showing one light effect through the entire show.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Guests at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels can now choose from up to 30 designs for their MagicBand+ before check-in and arrival.
• A full menu with prices is now available for the BoardWalk Deli, set to open soon at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
• Construction continues around the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

New Merchandise

• Curious about the array of new MagicBand+ designs? We have them all right here!
• We caught new Vault Collection apparel and a neat bottle at the Magic Kingdom today.

Other Walt Disney World News

• MagicBand+ had a bit of a rocky first day, with required updates and low battery problems plaguing the newly-released band after purchase.
• Once purchased, the battery can still drain rather fast as well, we had a few issues with that today.

Disneyland Resort

• Now you too can enter “the zone” with a new “Soul” Spirit Jersey we found at Disneyland.
• The sequined aqua blue Minnie ear headband finally made it out to Disneyland today.
• It’s showtime! We found a new Enchanted Tiki Room-themed tumbler out at the park.
• Big fan of “The Rise of Skywalker”? Now you can pick up a Babu Frik interactive toy on Batuu to bring back home.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Tokyo Disneyland is getting the new “Coco” scene along with upgraded digital projections this September!

Entertainment & Media

• David Krumholtz is set to return as Bernard in the upcoming “The Santa Clauses” series on Disney+.
