Greetings from Magic Kingdom! We have a big day ahead of us and we’re off to hit a few of the parks today so let’s get started.
We made our way into the Emporium first where we noticed some new merchandising and signage for the shop behind the registers.
Not much progress has been made at Center Street in between Crystal Arts and Uptown Jewelers where half of the street is still under construction.
At the Emporium, our favorite white light-up Castle Collection ears are back on the shelves after being out of stock for a while. Do you have a favorite pair of ears from the 50th anniversary collection?
We stopped over at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. to see what was new on MaDe kiosks.
Mighty Thor, ‘All hail King Valkyrie’, and Toy Story phone cases are available on the kiosks. The Toy Story one is so cute with all of the characters on it!
It’s PeopleMover time! Work continues on TRON Lightcycle Run near the attractions future entrance and along the tunnel and walkway below. We’ve been seeing a lot of vehicle testing on the tracks recently.
More construction progress! Workers are busy at Tomorrowland Light & Power co. where the awning is being extended and metal framework is added around the edge of the building.
Uncle Orville, where are you?! We recently saw Uncle Orville’s Bathtub Sundae return to Auntie Gravity’s but it’s already off the menu again.
A bright and colorful Stitch reversible table runner is in the small Stitch section in the center of the shop.
What’s missing here at Splash Mountain?
Since water was in short supply at Splash Mountain, we dropped in at Pirates of the Caribbean instead. “It’s all fun and games until someone needs an eyepatch” shirt is at Plaza Del Sol Caribe Bazaar, which is still under a small refurbishment.
We’re ready for a snack after stopping by all these attractions! A new dwarf cone is at Storybook Treats in Fantasyland and boy, is he ‘Happy’ to see us!
As we made our way out to another park, we stopped at Disney’s Contemporary Resort where a new fall find – a mystery pin collection is at Fantasia. We’re so excited for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party to return in a few short weeks!
It’s Studios time! Wait times were high today, so we passed on quite a few attractions, like Tower of Terror at 90 minutes!
Opting for AC and shopping, we stopped in a few of the stores along Sunset Boulevard. These super cute Stitch planters are at Once Upon a Time.
Back near the entrance of the park, Keystone Clothiers has a few colorful new Thor magnets.
After a short break from the summer sun, we made our way to EPCOT to test out the new MagicBand+ with the Beacons of Magic! Our bands were almost perfectly synchronized with Spaceship Earth.
Harmonious was next, where our MagicBand+ did dances of light with the nighttime spectacular!
