Hurricane Warnings mean hurricane conditions are expected in the next 36 hours. Sustained winds of 74 miles per hour or higher are expected, and immediate preparations should be made to protect yourselves and your property.

Hurricane Ian is set to make landfall in Florida on Wednesday as a Category 3 storm.

Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort have already announced their parks will close Wednesday and Thursday due to the impact of Hurricane Ian, the first such closure since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Orlando International Airport will also close by request of the FAA.

Walt Disney World Resort guests with reservations around the period of Hurricane Ian are able to cancel their hotel and dining reservations without penalty.
