As excitement is building for the debut of Walt Disney World’s TRON Lightcycle/Run attraction in the Magic Kingdom, Disney has shared a first look at the TRON LIghtcycle / Run Team Green Post-show.

As riders make their way through the Hall of Opponents, past winning racers from Team Yellow and Team Red and the intimidating Team Orange, they are synced with their Lightcycles and become a part of Team Blue.

Team Blue then competes against Team Orange in a thrilling race across the Grid, where they must capture all eight energy gates.

Upon completing their heart-pounding race and returning to Tomorrowland, Team Blue is greeted with the introduction of a new racing team, Team Green, in the post-show area sponsored by Enterprise.

Team Green brings along with them their signature, high-performance, most cutting-edge Lightcycle to join the race. This mean, green machine, with its revving engine and vibrant green lights, has been transported from the Grid and into reality and provides the perfect photo opp.

Dynamic displays throughout the space showcase Team Green, and their formidable Lightcycle. This is to show the “incredible culture, capabilities, and values of Enterprise.”

On repeat visits, the displays will feature additional stories about the twelve Team Green members, providing riders with new stories about Team Green. giving returning users a chance to enjoy even more of their experiences at TRON Lightcycle / Run.

For the past few weeks, Disney has been conducting previews of TRON Lightcycle / Run, with Cast Members and Annual Passholders getting the first chance to experience the attraction. We were fortunate enough to experience this highly anticipated attraction during the Cast Member previews.

TRON Lightcycle / Run began its Annual Passholder previews this past weekend. The walkway to Storybook Circus is currently being used as the exit for the previews.

Annual Passholders hoping to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run multiple times during Annual Passholder preview days will have to wait until the attraction’s official grand opening on April 4, 2023. Disney is only allowing Passholders only one ride per day on Annual Passholder previews. Disney Vacation Club and D23 Gold Member previews are still on the horizon.
