There’s plenty of things to see, do, and eat at the park during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. We recently took a complimentary tour of the English Garden at The Tea Caddy in the UK Pavilion.

The complimentary guided tour is running throughout the duration of the Festival. To sign up, you must visit The Tea Caddy shop at the United Kingdom Pavilion in World Showcase, and reserve your time with a Cast Member.

Fifteen minutes prior to the start of your tour, participants must return to The Tea Caddy to receive your Tea Tour tag, so Cast Members are able to distinguish who is part of the tour and who isn’t.

Once the tour begins, guests are guided out to the English Gardens where they will give you a brief history on Twinings, a popular tea company which is the official sponsor of the English Gardens. The entire experience takes around 20 minutes.

Guests are guided throughout the garden, stopping at each tea cup to explain different kinds of plants, teas, and how to brew each one. They also offer tips and tricks to properly brew and enjoy different types of teas.

Each of the signs throughout the garden gives you a closer look at the type of tea as well as what its flavor and color are derived from. The plants that are used to make the tea are at each of the respective tea cups.

At the conclusion of the tour, guests head back to The Tea Caddy to turn in their Tea Tags. As a special surprise, guests are given a little goody bag with different types of tea bags inside. If interested, a Cast Member can guide you throughout the store to help you find your perfect flavor of tea.

Overall, we thought the tour was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We not only learned a lot about lots of different teas, but we also learned how to properly brew them! One of our most interesting takeaways was that you can decaffeinate your caffeinated teas.
