Disney has just announced that Halloween on the High Seas will be returning to Disney Cruise Line in 2023.

Disney has been dropping lots of announcements and news during their Halfway to Halloween Celebration this week. Today we learned the dates and prices of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party, returning Friday, August 11. We have also learned that Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure will be returning as well.
The news is not just limited to the parks, however, because we have also just learned that Halloween on the High Seas will be returning to Disney Cruise Line this year.
Disney describes it as a “spirited cruise” and added:
“Discover magical mischief and spellbinding surroundings as you commemorate Halloween at sea. This spook-tacular experience is available on most itineraries departing late September through Halloween. Thrills and chills await you at every turn, thanks to not-so-scary activities, eerie entertainment and bewitching décor—including a magical Halloween tree.”
There are plenty of Halloween-themed activities on board during these cruises:
- Mickey’s Mouse-querade
A fun-filled costume party where guests can celebrate with characters dressed in their Halloween attire. - Themed Character Meet and Greets
Meet your favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween costumes. This includes Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the iconic Sanderson sisters, from the movie Hocus Pocus. - Halloween Activities
There will be lots of Halloween arts and crafts for the entire family. - Halloween-Themed Treats
Guests will be able to enjoy lots of Halloween-themed desserts, beverages, and more.
Halloween on the High Seas are Halloween-themed sailings that are available fleet-wide for Disney Cruise Line. Halloween on the High Seas will return to Disney Cruises starting in September, with specially themed costumes for characters and fun decorations.
Last year, guests were treated with the debut of Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dressed as the Sanderson sisters from “Hocus Pocus.” The Halloween on the High Seas cruises also include Halloween-themed activities that include trick or treating, Halloween crafts, Halloween-themed movies, special Halloween-themed treats, and more.
