Celebration is in full swing for the Fourth of July 2023 at Walt Disney World. Fireworks and DJ dance parties began yesterday at Magic Kingdom and will continue through tonight.

The Disney Celebrates America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky will be performed at 9:20 p.m. at Magic Kingdom. Watch our video of last night’s performance:

At EPCOT, the “Heartbeat of Freedom” tag will be performed at the end of “EPCOT Forever.” The tag was previously performed after “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” on Independence Day, and then was suspended for a few years due to COVID-19. Last year, it was performed after “Harmonious.” This will be the first (and potentially only) time it plays after “EPCOT Forever.”

Mickey and friends are dressed in their “Spirit of ’76” attire at The American Adventure Pavilion for the day.

A cappella group Voices of Liberty will also perform classic American songs in The American Adventure. Spaceship Earth is lighting up red, white, and blue in the evenings.

The Walt Disney World Monorails are celebrating with red, white, and blue undercarriage lights.

Fourth of July-inspired food items returning to Walt Disney World Resort this year include the Fourth of July Fruit Tart at Contempo Café in Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the Fourth of July Liege Waffle at Connections Café in EPCOT. Check out all the Independence Day treats available at Walt Disney World Resort and read some of our food reviews:
