A new mod-style dress inspired by Disney’s Contemporary Resort and “The Incredibles” has arrived at the resort. “The Incredibles” theming was added to Disney’s Contemporary Resort in 2021, leaning into the hotel’s and the film’s 1960s inspiration.

“The Incredibles” Contemporary Resort Dress – $79.99
This shift-like dress shape was especially popular in the 1960s.
It’s covered in a pattern of red and blue triangles. In the red triangles are the faces of “The Incredibles” family. In the blue sections are dynamic lines reminiscent of the Contemporary Resort’s architecture.
The v-shaped neck is lined with wide, dark blue fabric.
The back has a triangular opening — also reminiscent of the resort’s architecture — with two buttons on the back of the neck.
“Disney’s Contemporary Resort” is embroidered in light blue thread on the darker blue fabric on one side of the triangle opening.
Other Incredibles-inspired items include a Loungefly purse and mug. An Incredibles-inspired cupcake is also among the new offerings at Contempo Cafe.
‘The Incredibles’ Theming at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
The “Incredible” transformation of Disney’s Contemporary Resort first began in 2019, when Disney built test rooms themed to the Pixar film. The test included changing the hallway decor and carpeting.
There was no word about permanent changes until 2021 and “The Incredibles” artwork was installed a few months later. Reimagined rooms featuring “Incredibles” theming opened to guests in October 2021.
