Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom is now serving crispy chicken dumplings, alongside their floats, ice cream, and DOLE Whip.
Sunshine Tree Terrace is home to Orange Bird, in Adventureland.
The crispy chicken dumplings replace the fried pork and vegetable pot stickers. Read our review of the “I Lava You” Float, too.
Crispy Chicken Dumplings – $8.49
with Orange-Ginger Glaze
The fried pork and vegetable pot stickers were a favorite and will be missed. The new crispy chicken dumplings are good but lackluster compared to their predecessor.
One bowl has about five dumplings, with green onion and sesame seed garnish.
The dumplings come with the same orange-ginger sesame sauce as the pot stickers. It’s still great and is what makes the chicken dumplings decent.
Don’t get us wrong, the dumplings aren’t bad, but without the sauce, they taste like any fast-food chicken nugget.
If you’re looking for a quick protein snack, this is a good option, just don’t expect much flavor.
If you aren’t a fan of orange-ginger sesame sauce, then we would skip this for something more interesting.
If you have a picky eater in your group, this might be a good option.
