Bowes Signature Candles will take over the storefront previously occupied by Sosa Family Cigar Co. in Disney Springs. The cigar store closed permanently earlier this year.

So far, the storefront doesn’t look drastically different from how it looked when Sosa Family Cigar Co. closed, except that the old store’s sign has been removed. Sosa Family Cigar Co. was a long-standing staple of Disney Springs, having first had a location on Pleasure Island.
We did notice white footprints on the pavement outside the construction walls, suggesting that crew members were painting out of view.
The sign on the construction wall says Bowes Signature Candles will open in fall 2023. The building’s façade may not change drastically given the oncoming opening timeframe.
Bowes Signature Candles will be between Salt & Straw and Pelé Soccer on the West Side of Disney Springs. Summer House on the Lake is also under construction directly across from the new candle shop.
Bowes Signature Candles is a local Orlando company that previously operated out of Marketplace Co-Op on the other side of Disney Springs. Bowes Signature Candles says the following about their inspiration:

Rothy’s, known for their washable shoes made of recycled materials, is coming soon to Disney Springs.
Everything But Water and lululemon both recently closed to move to different storefronts. Lululemon is taking over the former location of UGG, which closed permanently. Everything But Water may move to the old lululemon storefront and Rothy’s could take over the former Everything But Water storefront.
A new discount store has opened up at the Marketplace Co-Op, themed to Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post from “Frozen.”
