An August report suggested that a roaming horde of killer dolls would be coming to Halloween Horror Nights 32 at Universal Studios Florida; now that we’ve seen the mob live, we can confirm that the only killing they do is on the dance floor. A group of Scareactors dressed as M3GAN, the namesake of the 2023 Universal Pictures-distributed horror film, roam Universal Studios Florida for this year’s event, even performing a dance routine inspired by the movie.

The horde contains six Scareactors dressed as the titular artificially intelligent doll. We caught their routine in the Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida.

The performance starts innocuously enough — a single M3GAN appears and starts moving robotically.

She’s soon joined by additional M3GANs. Once the complete group is formed, they perform a choreographed routine that contains some of the dance moves seen in the film.

The entire performance takes roughly three minutes.

The M3GAN horde does not have a performance schedule and changes location randomly. Sometimes they appear near Mel’s Die-In, but we have also spotted them in the San Francisco area of the park, near Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count. Check out our video of the full show here:

“M3GAN” released domestically on January 6, 2023, and was a surprise box office hit, bringing in over $180 million worldwide for Universal against a reported budget of $12 million. The film was directed by Gerard Johnstone and produced by Jason Blum (founder of Blumhouse Productions) and James Wan (creator of “The Conjuring” series).

A sequel was in development before the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes brought Hollywood to a standstill. “M3GAN 2.0” still appears on the official Universal Pictures website under the “Future Releases” tab; a release date of January 17, 2025 is listed.
