This Christmas season has seen the highest Genie+ prices we have ever seen, and today is no exception. Guests wanting to purchase the popular offering may want to check their stockings for a little extra cash this morning.
Genie+ Prices
We first started seeing the higher Genie+prices over the weekend leading up to Christmas. The multiple parks Genie+ offering, valid with Park Hopper benefits is a $39, keeping with the trend. It’s $39 also for the Magic Kingdom. EPCOT comes in at $32 and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will run you $35. Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set at $29.
Individual Lightning Lane
Lightning Lane prices are also riding high, led by Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at $25, TRON Lightcycle Run at $20, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at $17, Avatar: Flight of Passage at $16. and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at $12. Meaning a family of 4 wanting to get Lightning Lane access for every attraction at the Magic Kingdom is looking at shelling out and extra $284 for the highly profitable offering.
When Genie+ first launched, the service was available at a flat rate of $15 per person, per day. In the fall of 2022, Disney switched it to date-based pricing. At the time, the new high price was $22. It jumped to as high as $29 during the 2022 holiday season, then $35 in April 2023.
