The loveable leader of The Muppets is now available in Cuddleez form. These adorable Disney plush are extra soft and floppy, and are depicted as lying on their stomachs so they look like they’re napping.
We found the Kermit Cuddleez in World of Disney at Disney Springs.
Kermit Cuddleez Plush – $44.99
Kermit is a green frog with long arms and legs. He has white bulbous eyes with black pupils.
Unlike most Cuddleez plush, Kermit is depicted with his eyes open.
He makes the perfect huggable plush companion.
A long tag is attached to his belly, but you can remove it.
His pointy green collar sits around his neck.
More Kermit the Frog merchandise is available at Walt Disney World, including a standard plush, hoodie, bucket hat, bag charm, Crocs, and backpack.
Other Cuddleez plush include Figment, Winnie the Pooh, Jack, Sally, Olaf, Stitch, and Grogu. The Kermit Cuddleez is not yet available on shopDisney, but some of the other Cuddleez plush are.
Muppets at Walt Disney World
Kermit the Frog and the Muppets have had a permanent presence at Walt Disney World Resort since the opening of Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 1991. The show was directed by Jim Henson and was one of the last projects the iconic puppeteer worked on before he died in 1990. The show has been mostly unchanged since its debut, but new projection mapping effects were added recently.
The Muppets have appeared in various other shows, attractions, and eateries since The Walt Disney Company acquired the brand in 2004. A live show titled “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History” debuted in the Liberty Square section of Magic Kingdom in 2016 but closed in late 2019.
In 2016, Pizza Planet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios became PizzeRizzo ahead of the opening of Toy Story Land. The Liberty Inn dining location in The American Adventure at EPCOT received a Sam the Eagle-inspired overhaul in 2020 when it became Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue Restaurant.
The Muppets Mobile Lab, a free-roaming audio-animatronic featuring Dr. Benson Honeydew and Beaker, appeared at EPCOT in 2016. During the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the two characters appeared in video form in the Odyssey Pavilion as hosts of the Brew-Wing Lab.
Kermit and Miss Piggy cohosted “Disney Holidays in Hollywood”, a holiday variety show at Disney Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Watch our video of the show below.
