After a refurbishment, the Neytiri sculpture has returned to Windtraders, the gift shop of Pandora – The World of “Avatar” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The sculpture is a bust of Neytiri, one of the main characters of the “Avatar” series. It’s housed in a glass case in Windtraders. It was removed about a month ago for a minor refurbishment.

Neytiri is a Na’vi portrayed by Zoe Saldaña in the “Avatar” films. The hyper-realistic sculpture includes details of Neytiri’s appearance like the markings on her face, large yellow eyes, and pointed ears. She has long black braids.

The sculpture wears some of her jewelry and adornments like feathers and beads.

In the first “Avatar” film, Neytiri and human Jake Sully fall in love. By the events of the second film, “Avatar: The Way of Water,” they have three biological and two adopted children.

A Pandora experience is coming soon to Disneyland Resort although details are scarce. Disney CEO Bob Iger recently implied it would be a land and previous reports indicated it would be located at Disney California Adventure, but Disney is reluctant to confirm anything.
