Work began a week ago when crews first began to remove the large silver elements that wrap around the top of the building. Three more of the silver panels have been removed from above City Works Eatery & Pour House.

Some of the support hardware for the decorations remains on the building, which is covered in white, gray, and blue paneling.

Silver elements remain at the corner of the building.

The NBA Experience opened in August 2019. In March 2020, Disney Springs closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As restaurants and stores reopened in the following months, the basketball-themed offering remained closed. In October 2020, all NBA Experience Cast Members were laid off. Disney didn’t announce the permanent closure until August 2021. The building was used for a limited-time “Star Wars” VR experience in 2022.
