Announced via a post on X (formerly Twitter) from the official Halloween Horror Nights account for Universal Studios Hollywood, the show is described with the following:
This fiery stunt spectacular puts you in the world of The Purge like you’ve never seen it before.
The show debuted last year. It uses the Waterworld amphitheater. It’s unknown if the show will have any changes for 2024.

This entertainment offering joins other previous announcements for Halloween Horror Nights 2024, including haunted houses Dead Exposure: Death Valley, A Quiet Place, Monstruos 2: The Nightmares of Latin America, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Insidious: The Further, Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface.
Announced scare zones include Skull Lordz, Chainsaw Punkz, Murder of Crowz, and Luchadores Monstruosos.
Halloween Horror Nights 2024 runs on select nights from September 5 through November 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Tickets are on sale now.
