Fast & Furious – Supercharged at Universal Studios Hollywood will soon be taking its last ride on the World Famous Studio Tour.
Fast & Furious – Supercharged Closing Permanently
The announcement of the ride’s closure was made on the Universal Studios (@unistudios) Instagram page.
The last day to experience this portion of the Studio Tour will be March 10, 2025. The experience will be closed permanently beginning March 11. A new addition to the Studio Tour will be announced at a later date.
The closure comes ahead of the opening of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a new roller coaster set to open in 2026 after being initially announced in 2023.
The Instagram reel above shows crews beginning to assemble the track for the “all-new, high-speed” roller coaster.
Fast & Furious – Supercharged is described by Universal Studios Hollywood as an “exhilarating journey” where guests “become engulfed in a world of cutting-edge, hyper-realistic special effects.”
Over at Universal Studios Florida, Fast & Furious: Supercharged was closed for three months in 2024 during Halloween Horror Nights. Universal was reportedly looking to save money ahead of Epic Universe, and due to the ride being unpopular among guests, it was likely easy to close the attraction.
Universal has not made any announcements on whether the Florida attraction will also see a permanent closure.

Now we need them to close the Orlando ride,
It’s so bad
Ride was outright awkward and terrible anyway. Good riddance.
