Disneyland Resort has announced that guests looking to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass can now do so even further in advance.
Disneyland Resort Lightning Lane Premier Pass
Starting on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Disneyland Resort will extend the purchase window for Lightning Lane Premier Pass up to seven (7) days from its previous two (2) days. The prices for this service vary by date and demand, and it can be purchased directly in the Disneyland app starting at 7 a.m. PT on the first day of your advance arrival window.
However, those who are visiting the resort with a Walt Disney Travel Company package can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass when they receive their park tickets three (3) days in advance of their arrival date, subject to availability.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass differs from Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass by allowing one-time entry into each available Lightning Lane attraction entrance, without having to choose an arrival window. This way, you can ride the attractions you want, when you want. With the other Lightning Lane offerings available, you must choose the next available arrival window.
This purchase window now matches that of Walt Disney World, which was recently updated to allow for all guests, regardless of their hotel, to purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass up to seven days in advance.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass was first announced in October 2024, with the service rolling out at Disneyland Resort shortly afterward. In an earnings call earlier this year, Disney stated that the company is still “learning how to use” the service.
