All of the available Magic Keyholder park passes for Disneyland Park on May 16, which is the first day of the upcoming Disneyland 70th anniversary celebrations, are now sold out.
Disneyland Park Passes Sold Out for Magic Keyholders

On the Disneyland Mobile App, park passes for Disneyland Park are now unavailable on May 16 for all Magic Keyholders. May 16 is the confirmed start date for Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebrations, even though the park isn’t officially 70 until July 17. Park passes for Disney California Adventure are still currently available.
Park passes to both parks are still available at the time of writing on May 16 for guests who have a standard date-based park ticket.
The Magic Key program is the equivalent of an Annual Pass to Disneyland Resort. All Magic Keyholders must make a reservation to visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure prior to their arrival.

The Disneyland 70th anniversary celebrations will run from May 16 to the summer of 2026. The official logo for the anniversary was revealed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Several new and returning events have been announced as part of the celebrations, including new costumes for the Fab Five and a new collection of 70th merchandise.
Disneyland also teased the return of the Wondrous Journeys nighttime spectacular and posted concept art of new decorations on Sleeping Beauty Castle.

While a majority of the festivities will begin on May 16, a few more detailed additions are being held until the park’s actual birthday on July 17. These include the “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” show, which will include the first ever Walt Disney animatronic, and a new “it’s a small world” verse added as a tribute to the late Sherman brothers.
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” was originally scheduled to open on May 16, but was quietly delayed until July 17. The show will utilize modern technology alongside archival voice recordings to tell the story of Walt Disney’s life. The new show will take over the Main Street Opera House and will temporarily replace “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.” After the show’s initial run, both offerings will rotate to share the space. Additional props and memorabilia from both Walt Disney Imagineering and the Walt Disney Archives will be added to create a new exhibit in the lobby of the opera house.
