The Philippines’ Royal Wattamelon flavor is now missing from the drink machines at Club Cool Hosted by Coca-Cola in EPCOT, joining China’s Sour Plum Tea on the list of drinks that are currently unavailable.
Missing Philippines Royal Wattamelon
The latest drink to go completely missing from Club Cool is Royal Wattamelon from the Philippines. The description of the flavor reads, “Royal Wattamelon is a sparkling beverage with a refreshingly, sour watermelon flavor available exclusively in the Philippines.”
All of the dispensers for Royal Wattamelon are now covered with black stickers saying “Please Try another Flavor.” This is the same at every drink machine in the location.
This is the second drink to lately become unavailable at Club Cool. We reported on February 9 that China’s Suan Mei Tang or Sour Plum Tea had also completely run out at the location. All of the Sour Plum Tea dispensers are still covered in the same “Try Another Flavor” stickers. The other drinks still available include Beverly from Italy, Bon Bon Anglais from Madagascar, Country Club Merengue from the Dominican Republic, Minute Maid Joy Apple Lychee from Korea, Sprite Cucumber from Russia, and Viva Raspberry from Moldova.
Disney has not released any information on why both flavors are currently unavailable or if they will be returning soon. However, this is not the first time drink flavors have become unavailable. In April of 2023, the infamous Italy Beverly flavor was the only option remaining for guests to try.
Club Cool Hosted by Coca-Cola moved to a new building next to Creations Shop in 2021. The location allows guests to try multiple flavors of Coke products from around the world, many of which are normally unavailable inside the U.S. Club Cool also sells a small selection of Coca-Cola branded merchandise.
In other recent news, Club Cool switched its paper tasting cups to new clear plastic cups.
