A Disney Resort Line Monorail will be decorated for the 20th anniversary celebration of Duffy and Friends at Tokyo Disney Resort.

The specially decorated monorail is dubbed the Duffy and Friends Colorful Happiness Liner. The picture shows the front cars, with a pastel rainbow gradient featuring colorful bubbles and each character, starting with Duffy. The 20th anniversary logo is on the lead car.
Disney Resort Line day passes featuring celebration artwork will also be available.
Duffy and Friends 20th: Colorful Happiness runs from April 8, 2025, through March 19, 2026. The event’s offerings include special food, merchandise, entertainment, and Duffy badge re-releases.
Duffy was first introduced as the Disney Bear at Walt Disney World in 2002 for the opening of Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney. The Disney Bear wasn’t very popular with guests, so Disney gave him to the Oriental Land Company, owners of Tokyo Disney Resort. He was named Duffy and introduced at Tokyo DisneySea in 2005, hence 2025 being the 20th anniversary. Since then, Tokyo Disney Resort and other international parks have introduced a series of Duffy’s friends.
Duffy is slowly being reintroduced to the U.S. Disney Parks. He and friend ShellieMay will appear in a Disneyland 70th anniversary cavalcade. At Walt Disney World, he sometimes has meet and greets during special events.
The Disney Adventure, sailing out of Singapore later this year, will have a Duffy and Friends show and shop.
