BREAKING: Opening Date Announced for ‘Disney Starlight’ Nighttime Parade in Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World has finally announced the opening date for “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away,” the new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom this summer.

Opening Date for ‘Disney Starlight’ Nighttime Parade

According to Disney, “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” will make its debut on July 20, 2025. This will be the first time that Magic Kingdom has offered a year-round nighttime parade since 2016, when the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its last run at the park.

Disney had previously stated that the parade would debut this summer, with rumors indicating a July 2025 debut.

First announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in 2024, Disney began casting for the new parade in September 2024. Since then, concept art has been shared for several floats in the parade, including the Blue Fairy, Peter Pan, and Wendy; Moana; “Encanto;” Disney Princesses and their princes; “Coco;” and “Wish.” A partial parade float order was revealed earlier this week.

Disney also shared a behind-the-scenes look at Cast Members working on new light-up costumes inspired by Mary Blair’s artwork.

The parade was added to the Walt Disney World official website and My Disney Experience app earlier this year, in anticipation of its summer debut.

Illustrated Disney poster with characters and settings from various films, including Cinderella, Moana, and Peter Pan, set against a starry night sky with the text "Disney Starlight.

The attraction poster for “Disney Starlight” was also revealed earlier this year, and features stylized imagery of Elsa, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Miguel and Pepita, Moana, the Blue Fairy, and Peter Pan and Wendy.
