The newest complimentary UOAP magnet at Universal Orlando Resort celebrates 50 years of “Jaws.”

Jaws UOAP Magnet

A hand holds a “Universal Passholder” sticker featuring a shark bite and “Amity Island 1975.”

The magnet is a rounded square with a red and white border around a watery background. “UOAP” is in the center. The “O” is an Amity Island life ring with a bite taken out of it and the year 1975 on it. The “A” features the outline of a shark’s fin.

The magnet is available for Passholder Bonus Benefits from May 1 through 22, while supplies last. Passholders can pick it up at UOAP Lounge in Universal Islands of Adventure from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida from park open to close.

“Jaws” was the first summer blockbuster when it was released in theaters on June 20, 1975. Universal Studios Florida once had an Amity Island area with the Jaws ride, but this was replaced by The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. All that remains are bathrooms, currently undergoing construction.

Though the land is gone, Universal Orlando continues to honor “Jaws” with merchandise, Tribute Stores, and the Universal Mega Movie Parade, which has a float featuring the shark and the Orca, Quint’s boat. New “Jaws” 50th anniversary merchandise, including a sipper, will be available at Universal Orlando Resort soon.
