Walt Disney World announced a plethora of 2025 holiday offerings on Tuesday morning, teasing the return of gingerbread displays and Christmas trees to resort hotels.
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
Disney stated “several hotels” will have “state-of-the-art gingerbread displays” this year, but did not confirm which are returning.
They did include a picture of the Disney’s Beach Club Resort gingerbread carousel in the Disney Parks Blog post, implying it will be back for its 25th anniversary. Last year’s carousel was inspired by “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.”
We already know that due to lobby construction, the Grand Floridian gingerbread house is not returning for the 2025 holiday season.
Last year’s gingerbread displays included:
- Gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Gingerbread Cinderella Castle at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” gingerbread carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Gingerbread BoardWalk Deli at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Gingerbread animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney Resorts hotels will also be decorated with Christmas trees and other decor. There will be holiday music and themed food and beverage items, including gingerbread treats. More details about menu items will be available later.

The holiday season at Walt Disney World officially runs from November 14 through December 31, 2025, although decorations at resorts tend to go up sporadically, not all at once overnight.
