Disney Pin Trading is an extremely popular activity in the Disney Parks, and Disney has several unique and interesting vessels to hold the pins. One of these includes a new Pin Trading tree branch found at Swiss Family Treehouse in Magic Kingdom.
Pin Trading Tree Branch

While most Pin Trading locations around Walt Disney World use Mickey icon boards, pin lanyards, or pouches, some have unique and themed vessels to hold the pins. There are Pin Trading caution cones, trash cans, and shields among other interesting items.
Now, Disney had revealed a tree branch at the Swiss Family Treehouse in Adventureland, which holds pins for guests to trade.

This appears to be an artificial branch, which is able to withstand the constant removal and swapping of different pins. Each “leaf” holds two to three pins, and the branch is stuck between two posts.
Pin Trading officially launched for the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration, which technically began in 1999. However, Disney is celebrating the 25th anniversary through 2025 with new merchandise, pin releases, and events.
Swiss Family Treehouse

Inspired by Disney’s 1960 film Swiss Family Robinson, based on the 1812 novel by Johann David Wyss, the Swiss Family Treehouse is an opening-day attraction at Magic Kingdom. It is six stories high with a total of 116 stairs. Versions of it also exist at Disneyland Park (as Adventureland Treehouse), Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland (as Tarzan’s Treehouse).

The Swiss Family Treehouse reopened earlier this year after a lengthy refurbishment to update elements such as the water wheel, which powers a series of bamboo buckets on ropes that pick up water to carry up into the treehouse. Various areas, including railings, were repainted and netting was replaced.
