The Lunar New Year 2026 festivities take place at Disney California Adventure Park from January 23 to February 22, 2026. The Year of the Horse will be celebrated with tributes to Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. This event is included in park admission, but some offerings are an additional cost.

Savor a selection of dishes inspired by the flavors of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisines at various locations throughout the Lunar New Year celebration.
Celebrated returning marketplace dining venues include:

- Prosperity Bao & Buns
- Red Dragon Spice Traders
- Longevity Noodle Co.

Guests will also be able to purchase Year of the Horse sourdough bread in the shape of a horse during the celebration.

2026 Lunar New Year Sip and Savor Pass – $49

Get a pass to try Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese-inspired menu items. Each pass includes six digital coupons that you can redeem for select food and nonalcoholic beverages at participating Lunar New Year Marketplaces and dining locations. Simply let a Cast Member at the location scan your pass. Then, enter the 4-digit code located on your pass at checkout.
Sip and Savor Passes are available in three limited-edition, collectible designs that pay homage to either Chinese, Vietnamese, or Korean cultures and feature Disney characters in culturally inspired outfits designed by artist Ann Shen. They can be purchased at the following places:

Magic Key holders may purchase the 6-entitlement Sip and Savor pass for the discounted price of $46. To receive the Magic Key holder price, a valid photo ID and a Magic Key pass must be shown upon purchase. All digital coupons expire February 22, 2026.
Please note that menu items redeemable with a Sip and Savor Pass are served in tasting-size portions rather than full entrees and are not available through mobile order. Any Sip and Savor Pass designated item ordered via mobile order will be full-size and is not redeemable with the pass.
Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration Pre-Show

See Mulan and friends at this nighttime water pre-show—before World of Color – ONE—celebrating family and friends. It’s approximately six minutes long, and you can watch it anywhere you would watch World of Color in Paradise Gardens Park. Watch the 2023 show below:
Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession
This 20-minute procession travels from Hollywood Land to Paradise Gardens. Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession fills the street with music, exquisite costumes, and traditional dances by Asian performing troupes. Mulan and Mushu lead the way.
The procession can be enjoyed multiple times throughout the day during the Lunar New Year celebration. Watch the 2025 show below:
Appearances from Disney Characters

Look for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Korean-inspired outfits, Goofy and Clarabelle wearing Vietnamese-inspired aó dài outfits, and Donald and Daisy in Chinese-inspired hanfu styles. Also, meet Horace Horsecollar in his Chinese-inspired ensemble.
