A new mug available online celebrates 30 years of Muppet Treasure Island. It’s recently been spotted in the parks, but at a higher price.
Muppet Treasure Island Mug – $24.99
The mug is stoneware but shaped and textured like a wooden barrel with silver metallic hardware. The handle also looks like wood with metal supports. A metallic medallion on one side depicts Kermit the Frog as Captain Abraham Smollett.
On the other side is a Muppet Treasure Island medallion. The film was released in theaters on February 16, 1996.
The mug holds 21 oz. of hot beverages. It’s dishwasher-safe and microwaveable. Rizzo screen art is on the bottom, which you can see in our previous post.
In other Muppet-related news, Rizzo the Rat and Bean Bunny returned in two videos posted by The Muppets on Christmas Eve. Disney also announced the revival special of The Muppet Show starring Sabrina Carpenter will premiere on Disney+ and ABC on February 4, 2026.
