Permit Filed for Level99 Signage at Disney Springs

We’re getting closer to the opening of Level99 at Disney Springs. Level99 has filed a new permit to install signs on the exterior of the building.

The Notice of Commencement is for “exterior signs” at the former NBA Experience address in Disney Springs. The NBA Experience replaced DisneyQuest, which closed in July 2017 and was demolished. The NBA Experience opened in 2019 to a poor reception and ultimately closed in 2020.

The contractor is Lauretano Sign Group, which is based out of Connecticut but has a Florida office. The permit was filed by a representative of Level99.

Announced one year ago, Level99 is set to open sometime in 2026. The installation of exterior signage is a good indication we’re getting closer to opening. They began hiring an opening team last fall.

Level99 is an “interactive, competitive social gaming venue for adults.” The Disney Springs location will have over 60 challenge rooms and duels. It will be able to host upwards of 1,000 players at a time. There will be a two-story bar serving handcrafted cocktails and local beers, accompanied by a chef-crafted menu including Level99’s signature, award-winning, Detroit-style pizza.
