During our recent EPCOT trip, we noticed a sign in Connections Eatery is damaged and the ribbons on the ceiling of The Land pavilion are looking particularly dirty.

This sign is held in a black frame. On the back, there are several white marks from guests scuffing the frame or otherwise damaging it. The most marks are near the bottom.

But there are also scuffs higher up on the frame.

The Land Ribbons

The ceiling of The Land pavilion is draped with large yellow and orange pieces of fabric. When the light hits in the right way, it’s obvious just how dirty these have become over the years.

There were large brown spots and stains on several ribbons. Some appear to be water damaged, possibly from leaky spots in the windows.

WDWNT tries to keep track of damage and grime like this to ensure the parks are safe and clean for guests. We recently reported on issues in the queue of The Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom, and Disney began repairing the damage soon after.
