Disney Adventure World Prepares for Heavy Crowds Ahead of Grand Opening

Additional Signs for Tickets

Days before the grand opening of World of Frozen at the soon-to-be-named Disney Adventure World, additional signage has been hung up to help guests with scanning their tickets at the gate.

While these signs have been visible at the first gate of the resort, these are new for the Esplanade François Truffaut, which leads to the second gate. These signs indicate preparing the QR code of your ticket before arriving at the entrance gate, so you can scan it and enter as soon as possible.

Above is a picture from March 18 during one of the Annual Pass previews, when the signs had not been put up yet. The process of entering the park is one that often leads to frustration at Disneyland Paris as, speaking from experience, people tend to scan the barcode instead of the QR code, or they forget to take out the ticket ahead of approaching the gate.

It appears Disneyland Paris management is hopeful these signs might alleviate some of the wait times to enter the park once World of Frozen opens.

Walt Disney Studios Park will be officially named Disney Adventure World when the World of Frozen and Adventure Bay expansion opens on March 29. World of Frozen includes a walking, talking animatronic Olaf, a Frozen boat show, and Frozen Ever After. In the rest of the expansion are a new nighttime show with air and sea drones, the Rapunzel Tangled Spin rideRegal View Restaurant & Lounge, and new gardens. A book about the park’s making is also set to be released soon.

Scrim fell down the Earfful Tower recently, showing more of the new logo on the landmark. The park map on the official app was also updated to include the new lands in the park.
