An aerial photo by bioreconstruct shows the lobby of Disney Lakeshore Lodge that overlooks the lazy river. Concrete was recently poured for the loop of the river.
Lazy River at Lakeshore Lodge

Last month, the lazy river was only halfway complete, as seen above (the lighter shade of gray). Now concrete has been poured for the other half, completing the entirety of the lazy river.
Next to the lazy river is the location of the main pool, which also has concrete.

Another photo shows the construction of what may be a quiet pool. It’s not in the main area of the resort where the lazy river is.
The new resort will be a waterfront retreat where guests will “discover the wonder of nature through the artistry of Disney storytelling.” It will open in the summer of 2027.
The recently-revealed concept art further confirms Lakeshore Lodge is recycling designs from Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge, the original Disney Vacation Club hotel concept for the space next to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
Disney Lakeshore Lodge is next to Bay Lake, at the former site of the River Country water park, between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. It will have 967 rooms, including studios and suites. Many will offer views of Bay Lake by day and Magic Kingdom fireworks at night.
The resort will debut new one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses along the water front.
