Some of the Hogwarts Castle towers visible in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure are now pale gray instead of the browner shade they were before refurbishment.

Crews began installing scrim and scaffolding for the castle’s refurbishment in March. It’s now almost completely blocked from view. But scaffolding doesn’t fit all the way around the castle, leaving a few towers and the courtyard walls visible.

These towers on the right front are now light gray instead of brown. However, this appears to be a coat of primer rather than a final paint color.

The other visible castle walls are still brown but we may see them coated in primer soon. On Monday, we could see a crew member working on the side of the castle that isn’t covered in scrim.

For reference, above is what Hogwarts usually looks like.
It’s the facade of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which remains open during refurbishment.
