Construction continues to progress on the unknown alpine chalet structure being added near Edelweiss Snacks at the Disneyland Resort.
Edelweiss Snacks Mystery Structure

The mystery structure was first spotted in late April, with our last update showing the roof starting to take shape. During our visit to Disneyland on May 19, we noticed more construction progress on the building.
The structure’s multicolored brown shingle roof has now been completed, matching the exterior of Edelweiss Snacks. Several new bronze spires have also been added to the edges of the roof peaks.

In addition, a black tarp covers what is likely an exterior sign for the building.

The completed roof, bronze spires, and covered sign can be seen from the other side of the walkway. Construction walls still surround the building and are decorated with lanterns and small signs reading “Pardon Our Pixie Dust: Edelweiss Snacks is Open.”

The seating area near Edelweiss Snacks is also still open for guests to use.

Edelweiss Snacks is a quick-service eatery located across from Matterhorn Bobsleds, known for turkey legs, slushies, and the Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat.
Edelweiss Snacks closed for refurbishment in February 2026 before reopening in early March, but construction walls continue to surround the area even as the snack stand operates normally.
Disney still has not officially announced what is being built in this area.
