In the midst of all the rock repainting around the Fantasyland and Tomorrowland bridges, a new permit has been filed for the latter, and its contractor is a wrecking company.
Wrecking Company Gets Tomorrowland Bridge Permit

The Tomorrowland Bridge is the focus of a new Notice of Commencement permit that was filed today. D.H. Griffin Wrecking Company is listed as the contractor. The permit lists the work being done as “general construction,” but contracting a wrecking company indicates that more substantial work may be done other than just routine refurbishment.
D.H. Griffin was also the main mechanical and electrical contractor for the Disney Skyliner.

However, a full teardown and rebuild of the Tomorrowland bridge is unlikely, given all the recent repainting work that has been done around the area in conjunction with the Cinderella Castle project.
It received new pavement in 2021.
