Disney Parks has released a preview video of the new Scooter animatronic and The Electric Mayhem for the upcoming re-opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Potential spoilers ahead for the refurbished ride.

Scooter and Electric Mayhem

In the video, the VIP tour arrives, and Scooter has to interrupt band practice for The Electric Mayhem. He reassures Kermit that the Mayhem will make their concert, but he isn't sure how they'll get there in time. At that point, Beaker explodes into the scene.

First Look at Scooter

This morning, May 15, we got our very first look at the Scooter animatronic. The Audio-Animatronic Scooter was created using motion-capture technology of the real Scooter Muppet. By recording and tracking Scooter’s performance, Walt Disney Imagineering was able to build and program a figure that looks, moves, and emotes exactly like Scooter should.

Disney also shared some pretty new photos of the attraction’s revamped exterior. The guitar is repainted, and a Muppets poster now hangs on the building. In the exterior queue are posters for each member of The Electric Mayhem. Rock Around The Shop now features a Dr. Teeth-inspired painted sign. And the upside-down car got a groovy makeover with a “MUPP3TS” license plate.

Check out the on-ride photos (including a first look at the reimagined limos)themed merchandise, and the FØØD by Swedish Chef menu.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 26.
