'Muppets' Added to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Entrance and Upside-Down Car License Plate

With less than 20 days until the Muppets make their Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster debut, Disney has added their name to the ride’s entrance archway and upside-down car license plate.

The car was given a groovy paint job early in the reimagining process and the archway was painted gray. Now “The Muppets” is in silver lettering above the car, where “Aerosmith” used to be.

The car’s license plates now read “MUPP3TS” in yellow. The license plates were previously blank.

The giant guitar’s new color scheme is complete and the refurbished piano keys (including one gold key) are almost done.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens on May 26, 2026. Annual Passholder and DVC Member previews take place later this month. Disney released the complete tracklist for the Muppets ride featuring rock covers by The Electric Mayhem.
