Jumping Junction Walkthrough Continues Testing with More Guest Groups at Bluey’s Wild World

Jumping Junction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, part of the new Bluey’s Wild World experience, is continuing to allow guests to enter for testing and acclimation of the animals. Bluey’s Wild World opened in late May, however, Jumping Junction was delayed.

One of our reporters was able to head into Jumping Junction this afternoon, June 10, and shared a handful of rules and elements of her experience. It seems groups are being let in around the top of the hour every hour, per our reporter at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

For our last update, we were told that the cap for the experience was currently 60 people per day.

During the walkthrough experience, our reporter was in a group of ten people with a Cast Member leading from the front. Upon entering, guests are asked to put away food items and to stay on the path. At this time, the walkthrough experience is not accessible for those in wheelchairs or ECVs.

During the walkthrough experience, our reporter was in a group of ten people with a Cast Member leading from the front. Upon entering, guests are asked to put away food items and to stay on the path. There was someone in the party with a wheelchair but Cast Members were unable to confirm whether ECVs are allowed, but the goal is to allow them.

At the time of our visit, one of the wallabies had a Joey in her pouch.

So far, the animals are coping well, Cast Members have said. They have been in the habitat since Wednesday, May 20. Guests could see them from outside the fence, but couldn’t walk on the pathways inside the habitat until testing began a few days ago.

Most of the animals haven’t been named, but one red kangaroo is being called Big Red. There are about 20 kangaroos and wallabies.

The space was formerly a petting zoo called Affection Section. The goats and other animal residents were rehomed.
