Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for electrical work at the former MuppetVision 3D, soon to be the Glob Theater.

The Notice of Commencement contracts Elite A/V Systems Inc. for “Electrical Work” at the theater’s address. Elite A/V Systems Inc. offers enclosure customization and modification services, engraving services, and more.

As usual, it expires in one year.

Earlier this year, Disney filed a permit for set installation at the theater. They are investing $22.4 million into the theater’s transformation.

The Glob Theater will be part of the new Monsters, Inc.-inspired Monstropolis land. Disney has not announced what will be inside the theater, but teased potential announcements for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

The land will also include a door roller-coaster and track is now being installed. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano is becoming Harryhausen’s.
