At the beginning of Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Chairman of Disney Experiences Josh D’Amaro announced that all of the Disney Parks announcements during the event were in active development. Below, find every Disney Parks announcement made on Saturday night.

Walt Disney World

Magic Kingdom

A Disney Villains land has been confirmed for Magic Kingdom. This new land, which is part of the biggest expansion in Magic Kingdom history, will feature two new attractions, dining, and shopping.

Two “Cars” attractions are coming to Magic Kingdom as part of a reimagined section of Frontierland.

The park will receive a new nighttime parade, “Disney Starlight,” in 2025.

The new Pirates of the Caribbean tavern will also open in 2025.

EPCOT

A modern restaurant with several patrons, featuring ceiling light fixtures, a bartender serving drinks, and a view of a vibrant firework display through large windows.

EPCOT will get a new Spaceship Earth lounge.

More details were released about the reimagining of Test Track, which is set to open in 2025.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Indiana Jones and “Encanto” attractions are set to debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2027. The Indiana Jones attraction will feature an all-new story and the “Encanto” attraction will be the first dedicated to the animated film.

Both of these attractions will be featured in Pueblo Esperanza, a new Tropical Americas area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This new land will replace DinoLand U.S.A. The transformation process will occur in phases between now and 2027.

Zooptopia Better Zoogether” will replace “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” and is scheduled to open in the winter of 2025.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Animated characters Sulley and Mike from Monsters, Inc. are escaping through a door on a roller-coaster-like track, akin to a suspended coaster, while riders in yellow seats watch the scene. A child is held by Sulley.

The first-ever Monsters, Inc. land was announced for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The land will feature the first suspended roller coaster in Disney history. The coaster will be based on the “Monsters, Inc.” door scene.

Disneyland Resort

Disney California Adventure

An “Avatar” land based on Avatar: The Way of Water and future films is coming to Disney California Adventure Park.

Also coming to the park is the first “Coco” ride in the history of Disney Parks.

Amid an explosion, a green-skinned character clashes with enemies while futuristic ships and buildings loom in the background. The image, branded with "Avengers: Infinity Defense," evokes the excitement of visiting Avengers Campus.

Disney announced the name and details of the new Avengers Campus multiverse attraction featuring King Thanos.

The fourth ride coming to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park is Stark Flight Lab.

Robert Downey Jr. is returning as Tony Stark for both rides.

Disneyland Park

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open on November 15, 2024. Critter Country will get a new name.

At both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, a new Mandalorian and Grogu adventure is coming to Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.

Disneyland will also celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2025.

Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris will get a new nighttime spectacular next year.

Pride Lands, a land based on “The Lion King,” is coming to Disneyland Paris’ Disney Adventure World. World of Frozen is also set to open at Disney Adventure World in 2026. The park will get a new nighttime spectacular around the same time.

Shanghai Disneyland

A new Spider-Man roller coaster is coming to Shanghai Disneyland.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Spiderman swings from web lines in front of a futuristic backdrop with a large "Avengers" logo. The image includes the Disney and Marvel logos, along with Hong Kong Disneyland branding, showcasing the excitement of their Tower Attraction.

A new Spider-Man attraction has also been announced for Hong Kong Disneyland.

Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line is set to build four more cruise ships bringing their total to 13 by 2031.

A new “Moana” stage show featuring a 15-foot-tall Ta Ke puppet is coming to the Disney Treasure. On the Disney Destiny, guests will be able to enjoy a new “Hercules” stage show.

Disney x Epic Games

As part of Disney’s ongoing collaboration with Epic Games, a number of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters have been announced as coming to Fortnite this year.
