It’s a great day to be here at the Magic Kingdom. We’ve just wrapped up a busy holiday weekend here in the parks, and the crowds seem a lot smaller than the last few days.
Let’s take a little trip down Main Street U.S.A.
There’s a lot of new merchandise around the park. In the Emporium, we spotted a new version of Disney Parks Monopoly for $49.99. The game features new attractions, and attractions from both coasts, as properties. Gonna need this.
When we got to Memento Mori, we noticed the Haunted Mansion singing bust ears were sold out, but two new items had materialized. The new seance scene and attic scene dioramas are now available, and can follow you home for the price of $24.99 each.
New desk plaques are available at Big Top Souvenirs for $12.99 each and feature fun Disney sayings and characters.
Our beloved spring roll cart has moved! We came around the corner and couldn’t believe the cart has completely moved out of Adventureland and is sitting awkwardly outside the land. It’s a spot you can’t miss, and we totally agree everyone needs to stop here, but this location is going to take some time to get used to.
Inside Big Top Souvenirs, we’ve found our options have been limited when it comes to glaciers. They used to have a variety of flavors, like raspberry lemonade and orange, that you could mix and match, but now we’ve only got 3 basic choices. We’ll have to go to Disney Springs for our glaciers from now on.
Not too much change at the Liberty Square Market since our last update. The brick walls are looking somewhat tidier and closer to completion, but the rest of the space is still well under development.
Wow, Mickey has seen better days. This poor little display piece looks so sad.
Well, that’s about all for today. Christmas is right around the corner, so I’m gonna savor all of the Fall snacks around the park while I can. I’m gonna take my pumpkin spice milkshake and get out of here!
Stay tuned for more updates from WDWNT.
