Jambo from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! It’s a beautiful day and the crowds are out to enjoy it. Let’s take a look around and see what’s up.
The first thing we spotted were these sweet, snuggling owl lanterns above the Riverside Depot.
This 2020 ornament was in Riverside Depot along with all the others. It is a round and flattened glass piece with each park icon and some of our favorite classic characters on one side. The other side features park icons and the characters enjoying a day at Disney. The inside is filled with tiny white balls that almost look like snow in a snow globe. The ornament can be hung with a blue ribbon and is $19.99.
My face when I realize it’s seriously almost 2020.
We are so happy to see that Primeval Whirl is back open for the busy Thanksgiving holiday week!
This dino in DinoLand, U.S.A. is totally cousins with Gertie over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. How do we start a campaign for him to get a hat?
Just look at that cute lil grin!
The Yeti sounded extra loud today. Maybe he’s already hungry for Thanksgiving dinner.
Crowd levels today were pretty high. Most every ride in the park had at least an 80 minute wait. Kilimanjaro Safaris was 105 minutes around 11 am.
Flight of Passage had a 205 minute wait around then as well.
The site of Animal Kingdom’s Club 33, Harambe House, is looking dandy as details are added to the facade. The tops of the front windows have been shaped and painted. We could also hear lots of hammering and sawing going on inside.
Construction walls still block off this area. We expect them to come down closer to the opening of Harambe House.
Every trip to Animal Kingdom deserves a Kevin appreciation moment. Isn’t she majestic?
She’s definitely looking for chocolate.
Waiting for her to cough up a tennis ball.
That’s all for today’s trip to Animal Kingdom! Be sure to keep checking back with WDWNT for daily updates on your favorite Disney parks.
