Thanks to Twitter user @Bioreconstruct, we can share a new aerial construction update for the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel.
Guests at the hotel will be immersed in the Star Wars universe for a two-night, three-day “cruise.” The hotel is set to open in 2022.
The shuttle stop area to the left of the building is currently being used as a staging area for construction equipment and materials. This is where guests will be transported via shuttle for an “excursion” to the planet of Batuu at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The landscaping and paving have really come along since our last aerial update back in March. The berm and foliage help camouflage the hotel from the arrival point. Guests will be “transported” to the Halcyon cruiser from the arrival point, as seen in the concept art below.

all this is interesting. however, has disney and d minus amaro announced how much this will cost per night per selected room? my best guess? minimum of 2 grand. hopefully i am surprised. but i doubt it.
Small, boring and sucky. I counted at most 10 windows on one side per level. That adds up to be no more than 60 rooms. No parking lot, it seems. Very odd. Can’t wait to hear about the price. If there are really only 60 rooms then most people will never have a chance of staying there, regardless of the price.
That’s Disney’s intent – an exclusive experience for the super elite. Most of us “regulars” will never see it – can’t afford it.
