Magic Kingdom
- Descendants star Anna Cathcart announced on social media today that Gus and Jaq from Cinderella would be joining the Disney Fab 50 character statue collection.
- It was a day filled with lots of new things to see and do and we invited you to come along in our latest park hopping photo report!
EPCOT
- Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley took time out of his busy schedule to show off photos of Spaceship Earth’s new “Points of Light” during it’s night time testing for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
- A new camera was added to the top of Spaceship Earth, possibly to be used for testing with the new “Points of Light.”
Disney Springs
- Cirque Du Soleil is making its grand return to Disney Springs with Drawn to Life and tickets are being made available starting August 20th for general guests while D23 Gold Members and Annual Passholders can secure theirs now for the November 18th opening.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Give thanks to Maui, because ‘Ohana brought back their original menu at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! We also dropped in to dine once more and bring you our review of the classic menu’s welcome return.
- With the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the Delta variant causing problems in Florida, many guests are opting to cancel their plans leading to a downturn in occupancy rate for Disney Resorts.
- At Pop Century Resort, Everything Pop dining was restored to pre-pandemic operations.
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney is now letting guests on 5-Night or longer Disney Cruise Line sailings know that they are required to take a COVID-19 test prior to debarking.
New Merchandise
- With Halloween merchandise returning to Walt Disney World, so did the Sanderson sisters with the release of sparkly Hocus Pocus Crocs.
- New limited edition MagicBands made their way into Mouse Gear, with bands themed to the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Disney Sidekicks and the Canada pavilion in World Showcase.
- Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of “Alice in Wonderland” a new merchandise collection featuring art from Disney Legend Mary Blair debuted at The Queen’s Table in the United Kingdom Pavilion of EPCOT.
- Disney Parks continued their collection of Little Golden Books by announcing Space Mountain as their next upcoming title.
Disney+
- “Star Wars: Visions,” a unique collection of anime shorts diving into the stories and characters of the Star Wars universe, released a trailer today and announced the voice casts for the Disney+ series.
