Space 220 has finally opened next to Mission: SPACE in EPCOT. Join us as we hop aboard the Stellarvator and tour the restaurant 220 miles above Earth.

With no reservations available for the first week, a huge crowd formed outside the restaurant this morning.

Only walk-ins will be accepted through September 26. Reservations are now available from September 27 onward.

There was a brief opening ceremony.

  1. Just an informative comment more than anything. I tried to make a reservation for this restaurant for October beginning at 12 am today (opening day) then tried again at 6:15 am. Both times it couldn’t be done as it kept saying nothing available, which I knew had to be an error. I called right at 7 am to book and they said the wait time on the phone would be over 2 hours. And it was I waited over 3 hours to get through to someone, which was unsuccessful as the call just randomly hung up (mind you I didn’t move from my spot to a spotty reception either). I have tried multiple times online to book and it still keeps saying the same thing. I have even tried different dates and still says the same thing for those dates; nothing is available. I find it hard to believe it’s sold out for the whole month of October already considering I made a solid endeavor at the start of the day and throughout the day. In short, Disney needs to develop a better system that works consistently well. Waiting over 3 hours to get to speak to someone is not great customer service. Whatsmore, the wait time hasn’t changed throughout the day. The online reso system still isn’t working either for any date in October and November as it still states nothing is available for lunch or dinner.
