Primeval Whirl continues to be dismantled in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom following the attraction’s permanent closure. The coaster track is currently being taken apart piece by piece.
Track removal has been underway on this side of the attraction.
A platform has now been removed from this corner.
The main entrance remains intact, though FastPass+ signage was removed.
We noticed some damage to the Super Slamosaurus roof, which is also surrounded by construction walls.
The main façade with dinos escaping asteroids is still in place. Green scrim is in front of the lower portion of the coaster.
One of the first elements removed was the final archway atop the lift hill.
A significant portion of track has now been removed from next to the lift hill.
In the middle of the attraction, we could see some disconnected sections of track.
The dinosaurs holding an “Ice Age or Bust” sign are gone.
There are now platforms leading to nowhere throughout Primeval Whirl.
We can also see where pieces of steel were cut to take elements apart.
Many elements of the ride are currently sitting dismantled and broken on the ground.
We saw another piece of track sitting beneath the lift hill.
