Fleur de Lys – EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

People are lined up at a red kiosk labeled "Fleur de Lys," offering drinks and food at the Flower & Garden Festival. A person serves a customer, while others wait patiently. Nearby, a stroller rests under the cloudy sky.

Fleur de Lys premiered at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in 2014, and returns for its twelfth festival. “Fall in ooo-la-la-love with haute cuisine and boissons from this Parisian pop-up!” This year’s 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival takes place March 5 – June 2, 2025.

This is exactly what it looks like, a croissant with cheese on top. Really, it’s nothing special. Ours tasted like it had been out a bit, and was starting to go stale. We’d label this as “just okay” and recommend purchasing other items from this booth.

*NEW* Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes, Canard Confit, Sauce Romarin: Pulled Duck Confit, Rosemary Sauce, and Herbs Provencal-Style Gnocchis – $8.95

A white paper tray filled with sliced meat rests on a stone surface, reminiscent of a savory delight you'd find at the Flower & Garden Festival.

The duck is very gamey and not very fresh, especially to the duck from other festivals. The potatoes are just plain with oil.

*NEW* Gâteau au Chocolat Chaud a la Noisette: Warm Chocolate-Hazelnut Cake – $7.25

A hand holds a plate with a slice of chocolate dessert featuring a peanut butter center, resting on a stone ledge by the water. This treat, reminiscent of delights from the Flower & Garden Festival, perfectly complements the serene aquatic backdrop.

While this desert is basically a rich chocolate lava cake, it happens to be a very good chocolate lava cake. It would be prefect with a scoop of ice cream on top.

The cream inside is rich and sweet. The pastry is soft and doughy. The caramelized sugar adds a nice, sweet finish, making for a pleasant snack that can be shared. This is a good crème-filled doughnut, but if you want a real French pastry, just go into the pavilion for Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.

Kronenbourg Blanc 1664: Fruity White Beer with Citrus Notes (5.0% ABV) – $6.00 for 6 oz., $9.95 for 12 oz.

From Untappd: “1664 Blanc is an original wheat beer. It is a different, fresh and fruity white beer, slightly bitter with hints of citrus and coriander spices.”

*NEW* R. Dutoit Les Vieilles Collines Chardonnay, South France ($13/bottle) – $7.00

From Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd.: “A very approachable Chardonnay that’s well-rounded in flavors of white peach, green apple, ripe pear and spice notes. The palate is lively and the finish is pretty and harmonious.

*NEW* Sparkling Cantaloupe-Melon Cocktail: French Cantaloupe and Honeydew Liqueur and Sparkling Wine – $9.50

The drink is extremely sweet and the cantaloupe flavor is overpowering everything else. Stirring the flavoring does not help at all.

La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush: Vodka, Grey Goose L’Orange ($28/bottle), St-Germain Liqueur ($32/bottle), and White and Red Cranberry Juices – $14.75

France once again brings an alcoholic slushy to the Festival. This time it’s a very floral and fruity vodka concoction that’s a light pink color. It actually smells like a rose! The St. Germain Liqueur doesn’t overpower the cranberry and orange flavors, which makes for a well balanced cocktail. Recommended.
