*NEW* Vichyssoise aux Concombres: Chilled Cucumber Soup (GF) – $4.50

Vichyssoise aux Concombres: Chilled Cucumber Soup – $4.50

The chilled cucumber soup came with an adorable smiley face that made it hard to eat because we were emotionally attached at this point. However, cold soup isn’t really my thing. (Especially not on an already-cold day.)

*NEW* Tarte au Chévre: Goat Cheese Tart with Caramelized Onions on a flaky Pastry Crust (V) – $5.50

Tarte au Chévre: Goat Cheese Tart with Caramelized Onions on a flaky Pastry Crust (V) – $5.50

The goat cheese tart was fine, but not worth the price. I mean, it’s good, but why pay that much for a tiny piece of bread with onions and goat cheese?

*NEW* Canard Confit à la Provençal: Braised Duck Confit with Tomatoes and Olives on Polenta – $6.00

The duck did not help this mediocre food situation. It was pretty horrible, actually. The polenta was hard, and the dish overall had a really off-putting flavor to it. It was bland. It was chewy. It was everything you should not waste $6.00 on.

Macaron au Chocolat en Sucette: Large Chocolate Macaron Lollipop (GF) – $5.25

Macaron au Chocolat en Sucette: Large Chocolate Macaron Lollipop – $5.25

This macaron arrives cold and attached to a stick, allowing you some nice photo opportunities. Get ready for chocolate overload because there’s an abundance inside and out. A very refreshing and tasty item to enjoy while Florida heats-up once again.

La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy: Grey Goose Vodka Orange, St. Germain Liqueur, White and Red Cranberry Juice – $10.75

La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy: Grey Goose Vodka Orange, St. Germain Liqueur, White and Red Cranberry Juice – $10.75

France once again brings an alcoholic slushy to the Festival. This time it’s a very floral and fruity vodka concoction that’s a light pink color. It actually smells like a rose! The St. Germain Liqueur doesn’t overpower the cranberry and orange flavors, which makes for a well balanced cocktail. Recommended.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Maison de France ($8/bottle) – $4.95

Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 (5.0% ABV) – $4.50

From Untappd: “1664 Blanc is an original wheat beer. It is a different, fresh and fruity white beer, slightly bitter with hints of citrus and coriander spices.”
