Impossible Farmhouse Meatball with Lentil Bread, Spinach, Marinated Vegetables and Creamy Herb Aioli – $6.00
Rank out of 7: 7
There’s a lot of good seasoning in here, and it has a texture close to a meatball. The spice comes through as a slow burn on the back end. The lentil wrap is so good. We’ll have this again.
Soy-Glazed Sticky Ribs with Green Onions and Peanuts – $7.00
Rank out of 7: 4
These had a very good barbecue flavor with tender meat. The ones we got were a bit gristly, but your mileage may vary. You only get two ribs, so the serving size wasn’t exceptional, but it’s a solid option.
*NEW* Chocolate Mousse Terrarium with Matcha Crumble and Chocolate Soil – $5.50
Rank out of 7: 5
Chocolate fans will enjoy this, but it’s nothing special. The chocolate soil gives a nice crunch, but it’s basically a fancy version of pudding dirt cups. Previous versions of this dish have been served, but unlike those, this one is not vegan.
*NEW* Raspberry and Lemon Herbal Tea: Twinings Raspberry & Lemon Herbal Tea and Simply Limeade (Non-Alcoholic) – $4.50
Rank out of 7: 5
A lot of the drinks this year were refreshing, but this is one of the better non-alcoholic ones. It’s thirst-quenching enough that we wish there was a larger serving.
*NEW* Surreal Brewing Co. Natural Bridges Kolsch Style Non-Alcoholic Beer, Sacramento, CA (Non-Alcoholic) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Surreal Brewing Co.: “This Kolsch Style NA has a delicate malty character with a hint of honeydew melon and a crisp, refreshing finish.”
*NEW* Brew Hub Strawberry Heatwave Berliner, Lakeland, FL (4.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From correspondence with Brew Hub, this is a “fruited sour ale conditioned on strawberries and habanero.” “The aroma of ripe strawberries, full flavored fruit acidity finished with a lingering heat from the habanero. Perfectly tart and refreshing for a hot Florida day!
*NEW* Raspberry and Lemon Herbal Tea with Gin: Twinings Raspberry & Lemon Herbal Tea, Simply Limeade and Conniption Kinship Gin ($29/bottle) – $12.00
Rank out of 7: 5
This is the alcoholic version of the lemonade above. It’s just as good, with the raspberry and lemon well-balanced.
