The Russian calendar that gave us our first look at Elsa and Anna as they will appear in “Frozen 2” is now providing a new look at “Toy Story 4.”
Instagram user @mmdismey200 on Thursday posted a photo from the calendar, which showcases Disney movies that will be released in 2019. The image shows Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the newly introduced Forky running with Bo Peep.
An image from a store display posted to Twitter last week gave us our first look at Both Peep’s new outfit, but this is the first time we are seeing the full-length version. Aside from a new color scheme, the new design has the character ditching her dress in favor of pants .
Similar to a calendar page for “Frozen 2,” the new image is accompanied by a brief blurb about the film.
According to the Instagram post, the translated text says “Since Andy went to college, toys have moved to a new house where a small girl named Bonnie lives. Her first day in kindergarten will put a beginning to adventures and meeting new toys, some of the old friends and even a romantic story.”
We’ve previously heard that the plot of “Toy Story 4” would involve Woody and the gang searching for Bo Peep, who was conspicuously absent from “Toy Story 3.”
“Toy Story 4” is set to hit theaters on June 21.
My wife and I are definitely up for seeing “Toy Story 4”. We hope it’s at least up to the level of the first three.
If you look at Bo Peep in the old movies, she has blue pantaloons. It’s pretty clear she just lost her outer dress, and didn’t change her clothes.
So, is that Keanu Reeves’ character on Peep’s shoulder?
Disney used to be innovative. Now it revovles around sequels. Time to shake things up and lose the dead weight.
