Walt Disney World’s Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), a large hub for catching transportation to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and monorail resorts, is in the midst of a major entrance rework.
Today we noticed lots of work on a structure at the entrance that could be a new security screening facility. The structure went vertical earlier in October and has since gained panels lining the top. More of these same panels are staged to be added.
Several construction workers were out early this morning adding panels and digging in the dirt nearby.
A few bundles of rebar are piled up near some ladders at the front of the construction site. Perhaps concrete will be one of the next steps.
Check back later with Walt Disney World News Today for more updates on the TTC’s entrance progress!
