While we were out and about in EPCOT, we hopped on the monorail to check in on all the various construction projects going on around the park. As we passed Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind we noticed some exciting changes.

Along the side of the ride building for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind we spotted some new concrete going in and new rebar for future concrete.

Several sections of the concrete have been completely filled in, while others are partially done.

The completed or in progress sections are broken up by empty sections of just rebar and wood framing. This seems to indicate that there will be a striped pattern in the concrete color or texture. The sections of concrete on the ground line up with the striped sections of paint on the building.

More wood framing can be seen toward the front of the building marking out space for even more concrete leading up to the ride.

The ride is set to open in 2021, and while we can see a few updates going on outside the building we can only imagine what all is going on inside and behind the scenes.
